Chapter 437. Defiance

Macy POV

The look in Edward’s eye lets me know I have said the wrong thing. If I didn’t know better, I would guess that my defiance turns him on.

I try to turn my head to look at Winston; maybe he will help me out of this situation, but Edward’s grip on my neck keeps me from doing so.

“Don’t look to Winston for help,” Edward teases me. “This is between us unless you need someone to fight your battles for you.”

“Let me go,” I say through gritted teeth.

Edward releases my neck, and I have only a moment to breathe a sigh of relief before he pulls my legs out from under me, and my back hits the bed. His body hovers over mine, and I gulp down my nerves. At least, I think I am nervous, but the wet spot forming in my panties would suggest otherwise. My body is betraying my mind, and I feel frustration building in my chest. I don’t want the twins.
