"How deep is this forest?" Magnus said weakly from behind me.
His face was drawn, and he looked tired. Gaius's curse was killing him. I stopped and gave him some water.
"We just need to find a way to get rid of this stupid curse," I said as I fed him water. "Meredith, how far do we have to go?"
She stared at the map in her hand. "We have to keep going North; there's a temple with powerful artifacts that I could use to filter out Gaius's curse. That way, I'd be able to break it."
Magnus took in a deep breath and closed his eyes. "If I survive this, I'm killing Gaius." He muttered.
"Do you need my help?" I asked. "I think we need to take a break."
"We can't keep taking breaks every thirty minutes, Astrid," Meredith replied.
"She's right," Magnus said. "I can keep going."
