Chapter 150. A Fire Caused by Desire

"We gotta get going," Magnus says while he stands to his feet. He strolls towards the car while I follow from behind.

He paused for a moment; he turned to my direction.

"Come on, we don't want to be late darling. It's about to get late," Magnus says, beckoning to me with his hands.

His arms were stretched out towards me; I quickened my pace till I was close enough to him. I place my hands on his hard palm; it offers a great deal of comfort at that instant. Magnus folds his hands against mine as we both walk towards the car.

He first opened the passenger's seat for me; I got in and took my seat. He gently closes the door and makes a quick run to the driver's seat. He got in, held my hand, and dropped a kiss on my knuckles.

He ignites the car into action; the engines rev for a moment before he sets off into motion.
