The scent of burning wood and smoke filled the air, making my nostrils flare as I tore through the forest in my wolf form.

I pounced on one of the creatures, I threw the fire at it, the flame going through its smoky body until it dissipated into nothingness. But more were coming, their Smoky forms surrounding me.

The Smoky creatures recoiled from the fire, their shapes twisting and writhing as they tried to escape the flames. But Cayon and the others were relentless, driving them back. The air sizzled with heat and the crackle of burning wood, the creatures’ tortured wails loud.
