Chapter 111. Doomed

Lovette’s POV.

I blinked twice and then tried to feel any part of my body to see if I was still alive.

When I opened my eyes the first time my vision was blurry. So I shut my eyes tightly and opened them again and I could finally see properly.

Where was I?

I looked around me and noticed I was laying on a bed, and just beyond it were iron bars. I tried to get up and felt pin shoot up my arm because there was a needle inside of it. I was connected to a drip.

I wondered how long I had been unconscious for. I definitely remembered how Felix was chasing me in the woods and I hit my head on a tree trunk and blanked out. I couldn’t remember anything that happened from that point on. And now I was here. Since I was still alive it was possible that whoever had found me at the woods had decided to spare my life.
