Chapter 216. Back to the Estate
I drove to my father's office. For some reason, I felt like there was something there for me, or maybe I just wanted to have a memory of someone close to me one more time. When I got there, I went straight in. I turned to ask one of the guards about his whereabouts, but when I saw the look on the guard’s face, I decided it wasn’t necessary. I already knew what had happened to him. I was really surprised that he had managed to stay for that long.
I asked the guard at the entrance to allow me to spend some time in the office alone, and he closed the door and left. I walked around the office, trying to recollect memories from earlier times when I was there. I spent more time in my dad's office when I was a little boy than when I was older, because he preferred to spend more time with me than with Brown.
I was very smart, and he knew it. He could talk to me about almost anything. I knew a lot about the park at a young age. I took my time to learn about it and took my lesson
