Chapter 36. Touring Paca
We kept driving for a while until it was clear to me that I wasn’t going to see any major sign of life. This was just a forest where rogues and lone wolfs stayed. There were a few bars or something like it around, but it wasn’t feeling like a small village even talk less of a pack. I stopped looking outside and relaxed on the car seat as we drove on.
Felix was on a call now talking to someone. I minded my business and continued looking straight. After some time the car finally pulled to a stop and Felix instructed me to come down. I got down and adjusted my dress and followed him. We had come to another place that seemed like a bar. There were some men seated around like in a circle. When we got close enough Felix exchanged greetings while I just looked on.
One would have imagined I was Felix’s child because of how timid I pretended to be.
“Sit down.” Felix said. I lowered myself and sat on a free chair.
“This is her. Her name is Lovette.” Felix started.
