Ryder’s POV.

Flashback.

I had almost ran to punch the stupid being called Lucas on the nose when I saw him strolling towards my most favorite part of the castle, the waterfall.

What gave him the right to wander around my home so carelessly, as though he owned the place.

My men had told me he said he was taking some air but I could tell that he was only sizing up the place.

My father and father before him and then myself had always looked after this pack, my home. It was our duty and I’ll be damned if I allowed some random stranger walk in and try to assert any authority.

I stared at him for long enough to decide to go end this shit by going to break a bone in his body when my beta grabbed my arm and urged me in into the mansion. We had gone for some meetings around the pack and ion returning we saw the curious bastard.
