Derek corked his head to one side as he remembered that Clem had mentioned the contribution of Claire in saving them from the shadow warriors.

Clem had told him a day after Emma’s disappearance to the witch’s land that Claire had been the one that had informed him about the identity of the shadowed creatures, and the wise idea to run away from them, instead of staying to fight with them; since fighting with them is futile as they can’t be killed without magic and sorcery.
