Pulling Red against my side, my fingers trailed up and down the naked planes of her back absentmindedly, inhaling her sweet scent of vanilla and coconut; I groaned needily, blanketed by an unexpected sense of peace. Sensing her shift to look up at me, I looked down at her pushing some of her wild red hair from her face.

“How did you know it was my birthday, Ace?” She asked, confusion written on that gorgeous face of hers.

“It’s my job to know things!” I winked, closing the gap between our lips, knowing she was about to probe further. Ares scoffed in my head, making me anxious.
