Abigail’s POV
Wrapping my arms around myself, I tried my best to ignore the cold that had seeped into my bones and currently working its way up my spine. I knew what it meant- Danger was lurking close by! Old me would have grabbed my keys and gone looking for it, stalked it and observed its every move until I knew enough about it to launch some kind of attack - just so that I could interrogate it, in the hopes I would get the answers I wanted!
New me; knew Damien would not be happy! Pulling the net from the window, I leaned against the wall and looked out into the night; it had to be close to midnight. The sky glistened like shimmering velvet- completely clear, with only a few stars sparkling curiously as if they knew that evil lurked below!
