Chapter 49

My head was the only one on the surface. I tried cooling my head off. I shut my eyes and stopped crying for a while. I began to hear my phone's notification sound. I knew different messages were already coming in.

Soon, it began to ring and vibrate.

In frustration, I got up on my feet and washed myself. I wrapped a towel around my body and drained the water away. I stepped into my room and grabbed my phone. I checked but immediately I saw his name. I switched it off immediately.

I want to have a peace of mind. I needed to get a hold of myself. I am not a kid anymore. I put on a clean nightie and rolled to the other side of the bed. Eventually, I slept off.
