Chapter 138
John called the other wolves to watch over the camp; it made no sense to leave them around Henry while he was losing consciousness.
“Supreme Alpha, wouldn’t it be better to call a healer?” asked Yves, one of the wolves in his guard.
John looked at the unconscious Henry lying on the blanket they had placed, his face covered in sweat. The commander assessed his heartbeat and noticed it was rapid, but a healer who could only treat the body wouldn’t help.
“Henry doesn’t need a healer who can only care for the body; his pain is in his soul, and only he can do something about that.”
Yves nodded to the supreme and distanced himself, returning to the other wolves.
