The ship made a long journey to Abdullah.
And all the way I didn’t sleep right, Leon only talked to me as needed, and yet I could see the effort he made, couldn’t say I cared about the discomfort he felt around me, he smelled her on me, weaker now, because of the weather, But still it enveloped me like a soft perfume, and when I looked into his eyes I saw how much he hated me for it, because I was not a wolf but a snake, a bastard, but a bastard who possessed the soft scent of the woman he most likely loved.
I almost felt sorry for him for always being alone, the night before our arrival at Abdullah I saw him on deck, leaning over the rail looking at the darkness of the waves, the moon shining, the night before he had locked himself in the cabin and taken a potion of Servin, a kind of wolf sedative, it kept his transformation under control.
