Owen POV

After ending the call, I let out a heavy sigh. I know my friend won’t take this lightly, and Osborne, being as stubborn as he is, won’t make things easier. Honestly, I don’t even think he cares for Bella anymore.

Though, I can’t deny there was a time when he did. Back then, I thought it would be best if the two of them married, especially since Bella clearly liked him too. But everything shifted so suddenly he pulled away, avoided her, and I’ve been left wondering what exactly happened.

Leaning back into my chair, I pressed my fingers against my eyes as the dull throb of a headache set in. Olivia’s disappearance didn’t help matters either. She ran off somewhere, and no matter how much I tried to reach her through the mind link, she completely shut me out.
