ZANDER'S POV

One Month Later

It had been a month since Hazel had left. I haven't had a good night's rest in weeks. Gidian had been getting out of control. He broke 17 wolves' bones. He missed her and it was driving him crazy. Carson had been drinking, he said it helped to numb the pain. The poor guy, the distance between him and his mate was eating at his heartstring.

"Zee, can I talk to you about something?"

"Sure Cleo, what is it?"

"Since Gerry is coming back soon, I'd like to ask you if I could get $20,000?"

"Ok sure, take as much money as you need," I told her. 

"What? You're not going to ask me what's it for?"
