I was forced to join the Hunt like I’ve been told my entire life and I get punished for it. I’m taken by the King as his chosen mate as it should be according to the teachers and parents and every other adult I’ve met in my life, I do this and I get punished. I live in his palace, tormented and played with like a toy, as though I exist merely for his pleasure and amusement, I take classes with the teacher from hell to learn how to be the best mate to the King and again I get punished. I meet a man who tells me he can help me, save me, take me away from the dungeon I’ve been put in and I am the fool who yet again gets punished.
