Chapter 31. Disappointment

 Alpha Glary's POV

 When I got to school the following day, I didn't see Mercedes' car anywhere.

 A slight smile crosses my face, this looks so good. I keep waiting for the school bell to ring and for Clarita to meet me. Now that she doesn't have to pretend to be friendly or Mercedes' girlfriend, the evil grin is pinned to her face.

 “Alpha, Mercedes hasn't arrived at school yet. But Zane arrived in a helicopter last night and I think the two are in a big fight at the moment. I’m waiting for the breaking news,” she grins contentedly. “While you're waiting for that bitch to throw herself in your arms, I think I'm going to comfort the Alpha. He will want to prove that he is able to live without her and spoil me well to make her jealous. Maybe I can get some expensive jewels too.”

 I roll my eyes, Clarita doesn't excel in the intelligence department, but this stupidity, really, I've never ever heard of such nonsense out of someone's mout
