Chapter 39. She Is Not Here

 Third Party's POV

 “Zane! I'm going crazy here! You must help me find her”.

 I can't contain myself, I need my mate, desperately. She had promised to stay with me, yet when I awoke at noon, she was gone. There wasn't a place in this pack where I didn't look for her until the guard came to tell me she had driven off in her car.

 I can not believe she did this to me! After she gave herself to me last night, unconditionally and uncensored. We made love as I've never experienced before, we were starving, we pushed each other to the limits until we almost dropped dead. And then she has the gut to abandon me, without any explanation. 

 At first, she wanted to reject me, but I stopped her on time. Her reaction afterward during our lovemaking was so intense, I thought she had completely changed her mind. But still, she chose to leave me.
