Sara's POV

“Sara.” Max grabbed my shoulders moving me a little to look at him. “Listen to me.”

I nodded.

“You can do it. You must. Or do you want me to take you away from me?” I denied again on the verge of tears.” There is no choice because if there were, I wouldn’t beg you to leave. For me, it is just as difficult. However, there is no other choice because I don’t know if we can handle him. And even if we can’t here, I will go as I can with you. I will never leave your side again, snowflake.” He hugged me tight as I sobbed loudly. You could just hear my heart-wrenching sobbing in the living room, which made me cry harder.

“Don’t worry.” He stroked my back before pulling away from me. “Come, we’ll go for lunch and spend the rest of the day together; plus, I’ll explain where you should
