I looked at Nix, and she looked at me.
“You go for the first, and I’ll go for the second.” I smiled, raising my hand in amusement. I waved it towards the first man running towards a street, in fact, the first one I spotted. A few seconds later, he appeared behind me, almost on my heels.
However, I had tricks up my sleeve, or rather, in my blood. As I reached the end of the alley I turned around feeling innocent. I craned my neck as he stopped about three feet away from me. I smiled, closing my eyes for a few seconds. Opening them, I moved my hand in a presto wiggle, freezing his feet.
