I see Josh in a corner barking orders to the waiters and offering the occasional smile to the guests who were once again approaching to offer their blessings and such.

Where are you, Megan, I thought, worried.

Already tired of all this game or persecution I approached my beta passing by the guests and in the course I noticed some hypocritical smiles.

I really should have been more aware of the wedding preparations, those hypocritical smiles and the thought that most of the people here were probably just here out of interest had me feeling like a big jerk and an idiot.
