Chapter 69

Reconciliation or Confusion.

As soon as the door closes behind him, Lisa rushes to get her phone. She picks it up and immediately dials Camilla's number.

The Line rings for a long time but Lisa doesn't give up. If not for what had happened and the pictures Peter brought to her, she would have gone to find Camilla herself.

She is close to giving up when Camilla finally picks up.

"Oh, Lisa you almost blew my cover. What's going on?" Camilla whispers to the phone. Her voice sounds muffled like she is hiding somewhere from the call.

Lisa understands that she probably lied to Ethan about something or she is in the middle of an operation and she has to hide to pick up the call.

"Listen, this is a matter of life and death okay! Peter is on to you! He has proof and he is going to keep following you around until he finds out what it is you do!" Lisa says in one long breath.
