Chapter 23. Hidden Feelings

My eyes widened.

From the car window, I saw my sister, Gretta, alone inside a coffee shop in a city, two hours away from the Einsworth Manor. At first, I was so suspicious about where Marissa would take me, but seeing my sister peacefully sipping a cup of coffee not too far away from the car made me want to run outside and call her name.

To tell her I was here.

I bit my trembling lower lip as tears trickled down my face. I thought I already cried all the tears I had last night, but seeing my sister after a long time of hiding made the pain worse.
