Nate's POV

I watched as she bit her lower lips.

For fuck sake hey, woman, stop doing that.

She had no idea what she does to me when she looks so damn vulnerable staring up at me like that.

She turned around to leave but I pulled her back.

“You didn’t think we would do all that and you will be allowed to leave just like that.”

She looked at me as if she wasn’t expecting what I had just said and I walked towards her.

I trailed a finger down her chest as her breathing rose and became unsteady.

“Easy there, tiger.”

My eyes went to find a mating mark on her neck and I kissed it. I felt her squirm immediately.

“I gave you that.”

“You remember?”

I could see the little glint of hope in her eyes and I really wish I could tell her what she wanted to hear.

“No, but I just knew it.”

I let my hot breath fan the area where the mark covered and went down her neck to the opening of her cleavage.
