“Um, actually, I consider I do not belong to anyone,” Amelia said, her voice sharp. She folded her palms as Gabriel shook his head, attempting to warn her off. But she was too busy challenging them each to know that her words had far, a long way greater that means in this world than in her own. “I make my very own choices about who, or what, I belong to. So you can both to go hell.”

Drake became back to Gabriel and raised an eyebrow. “See? Shitshow. Battle. I advised you.”

Gabriel growled and closed his eyes for a moment. “She doesn't understand what she's saying. She's in no way been round Chimera before.”

“Well she better parent it out quickly,” Drake said, “Or I'll project for her and kick your ass all the way to the river.”
