Chapter 34
She watched as Evelyn closed her eyes and a tiny shiver rocked the woman. Her fingers had clenched in the folds of her robe, her knuckles standing white and proud. When Amelia looked at Robert , his forehead was deeply furrowed and he watched Evelyn, as if following her lead. But when she didn't speak, Robert cleared his throat and turned to Amelia .
“It's been a extraordinary time for the reason that Gabriel left—” he began.
But Evelyn made a tiny noise to interrupt him, elevating one of her hands. “It's okay, Robert ,” she said, then put her hand on his arm.. “Thank you, but… I'll tell her.”

Stomping his feet in the dried out leathers, Gabriel shook his head and scanned the destruction that had greeted him. It had taken shut to an hour to pick out up all the portions of leather-based and fur, linen and down, and discern out what he had that was still usable.
