Amelia POV
Evelyn stood at her shoulder, eyeing the crowds of males round the bonfire warily and warning Amelia to hold her eyes on Gabriel.
She did not need to. Amelia didn't choose to look anywhere else. Her soon-to-be-husband was the most exceptional element she'd ever seen. And her nervousness drove her to make certain that he wasn't going to disappear again—or be attacked.
Every time there was a surge of recreation around him, the males clustering, or speaking, her adrenalin would surge, waiting to see some thing go wrong. But even Levi looked good-natured, if a little tense. And Robert , standing feet above the others, was beaming.
