The crunch of dried leaves beneath Naomi's feet were rapid as she hurried towards the cave. She wasn't out of breath from running. She was out of breath from almost choking on her tears.

Six had sent someone to relay the news of Arayah's removal from the dungeon and the lady wasted no time in hurrying from her home to the cave.

It was easier because she was still under probation and not at Alpha Arargon's home conducting the cooking.
