"Your father is back, Amareux." Dallas called from behind the french doors leading to the pool where Amareux sat.

Without thinking, Amareux flew out of the lounge where he lay on, sunbathing against his own will.

"Is my mother with him?"

Dallas shook his head. His face giving off no emotions.

Amareux stopped on his tracks. "What do you mean?"

"I mean, she's not with him. I don't know. You, go ahead and ask him why she's not with him."

Amareux married his eyes. He fixated his gaze on Dallas and tried to read his facial expression and body language.

It was futile.

Dallas didn't seem to be hiding anything from him, so Amareux nodded and passed by him, going in through the french doors straight to the living room.

Amareux frowned when he got to the room and found out that his father wasn't alone but was without his mother.
