Amareux went straight upstairs and once he was fine taking off his clothes, he put on something casual and stepped out of his room..

When he got to Primrose's room, he found Nicolette cradling her in her arms and staring out if the window, looking lost. Amareux discerned that something was wrong.

Nicolette did not even hear him step into the room. He had to clear his throat before she turned slowly and gave him a tight smile.

"You're here, Amareux." She spoke softly. "Primrose has missed you. Come carry her for a moment."

Amareux stepped forward. Nicolette was sitting sideways on the broad window sill. She was dressed in a day dress and Amareux had to admit that she looked beautiful.

Primrose was happily babbling to herself and when she saw her elder brother, she beamed. Amareux's heart warms and when he carried her in his arms, he laughed.
