Chapter 61

Now, June, Owen, Niel and Amareux were all in Amareux's room.

June was sitting in front of his desk while the boys were on the bed. Niel and Owen decided to make things worse by jumping on his bed and messing up his covers. Amareux didn't mind, though. All he was interested in was the conversation he was having with June.

"Are you for real?" June asked, looking skeptical. Her eyes darted towards her brother before returning to rest on him. Each time this happened, Amareux felt chills run down his spine. "You have no friends?"

Amareux nodded. "Yes, I do not."

"That's impossible." June laughed. "Stop pulling my legs! Why would anyone not want to be your friend? Your father is the King for crying out loud!"

Amareux was offended by her last statement, but he chose to ignore it. Maybe she was just saying that because she was going through the same thing. "I swear on my mother's grave.
