Chapter 56

Nicolette stood before the King who leafed through a paper.

She was so uncomfortable and this was due to the fact the king wasn't giving her audience at all. He just read through his file like she was not standing there before him and honestly, she was getting pissed.

After sometime, Alpha Arargon sighed briefly and shut the file. He then picked it up and slid it beneath the table, inside a drawer.

"Have a seat." He said, finally.

Really? Nicolette scoffed subtly and took a few steps forward before taking out a wooden seat and sitting on it.

"Know why I called you here?"

Nicolette frowned. "Of course, not. I do not know why you called me here. Aren't I here for that purpose?"
