June waited in front of the porch. She craned her neck to see through the tall iron wrought gates that lead into the palace.

"June, Amareux already promised that he'll be on his way. Let's go in and have lunch while we wait." Her younger brother who was getting to her height suggested. It was one of the twins, Owen.

June shook her head, not taking her eyes off the palace gates. She rubbed her arms. "I'll wait till he comes, then we can have lunch." Then, she turned to face her younger brother. "You can have lunch without me. I'll have lunch with Amareux later when he arrives."

Owen stifled an eye roll. "Okay, sister. I'll be going in."
