Chapter 88

Amareux, Gambino and June were almost done packing all of June's few belongings into the car they had brought with them. The rest were in the other truck that would be following and Owen helped in packing stuff, too.

Neil returned two hours later and joined them. As two of the boys carried boxes into the vehicles, they argued back and forth on who would be able to carry the heaviest boxes. June rolled her eyes and told Amareux that she was happy that soon, she'd be relieved off the duty of taking care of troublesome twins.

Amareux laughed and told her that she would miss them dearly. It was only a matter of time. June disagreed. She was about to pull a box and throw it into the car trunk when the palace gates opened.

They all stopped packing boxes into the vehicles and peered from the side of the large truck to see who was coming in.

"That's Dad, Neil!" Owen said in a panicked voice. "What do we do?"

Ever since their f
