Chapter 60

Alpha Darrel POV

When I got out of the toilet, Edna was already asleep on the bed. I can’t believe she fell asleep after creating a sin here a few minutes ago.

I helped cover her with the duvet, and walked closer to the closet so I could change my dress. After changing my dress I walked back to the bed and sat down. I was shocked to see missed calls from mom, I wonder why she’s been calling.

I called her back to find out why she’s been calling me.

“Mom.” I said and adjusted myself very well on the bed.

“Why have you not been picking my call? Did you forget you have a family back home?” My mom asked, sounding angry. I heaved a sigh and turned to look at Edna, I knew where the questions were coming from. She must have thought I didn’t want to pick her call intentionally.

“Mom, my phone was not with me, I didn’t see your calls,” I said to her trying to calm her down. I know that nothing I say would calm her down.
