Taking a deep breath, she looked towards the door when she heard approaching footsteps. It wasn’t Zillon, she knew because this scent was unfamiliar to her nostrils, fresh to her memory.

The door in front of her slid open and she relaxed when she realized that it was a doctor.

“Your mate told me that you’ve been awake since last night. That’s surprising despite how weak you were. You lost a lot of blood, although you’re awake now, I still need to watch how fast your body will heal.”

“Then how long will I be kept here?”
