He tried making an appointment again for the hundredth time, but got the same response.

The little woman was obviously avoiding him.

He could not blame her.

If he was in her shoes, he would probably do the same.

He had not called Isaac in a while.

He did not want to be anymore of a bother than he was already.

But he had to make sure she stayed away from that Limuel man.

He was not sure for certain that the man planned to hurt her, it was simply a haunch.

And also the knowledge that the man’s family had a grudge against the Ranas since the war.

He did not trust that any of their sons would treat her well.

“Hello Sir.”

“Isaac.”

That was better than the man had treated him in so long.

“How is Racheal doing? Where is she?”

Isaac went quiet as usual. He suspected the man was always hesitant to tell him anything about the little woman.

“She is well. She is currently on her way to lunch with a client.
