Book 2: Chapter 23

Malachi’s POV

After reviewing the last document, I close the book before pressing my back against the chair, closing my eyes in the process. I had to fly back to Texas early this morning because something happened at the pack house I had to take care of. Apparently a rogue park attacked my pack last night and left a few injured people. I was tired of sending them warnings and maybe now I should teach them a lesson that it’s not all packs they can go to attack like that.

A knock on the door makes me open my eyes.

“Alpha” someone calls from outside.

“Come in, Blaise!” I urge him and he immediately ventures into the room with a slight bow.

Blaise is my beta and he is one good kid, very good if you ask me.
