Zachary’s POV

The moment those words reach my ear, my heart skips a beat. What does she mean by my child? What the heck was that? I know Odette and she wouldn’t have kept my child after we broke up. I didn’t even know she was pregnant, how could she call me and tell me something like that?

When I went to her house two days ago, I intended to speak to her but seeing her in that condition, I was somewhat happy. She hurt me too, she hurt me and I couldn’t stop myself from injecting her with the wolfsbane before I decided to take her to the hospital. For the time we were together, she didn’t get pregnant but she didn’t hesitate to get pregnant for someone but right now it feels like my world has come to a fucking standstill.

I call her number again but she doesn’t answer. Luckily I am still in New York for a business meeting, I grab my car keys and rush out of the room. I want her to look me in the eyes and tell me those disgusting lies.
