Book 2: Epilogue

With my black hoodie over my head, my lips curl into a small smile as I watch all of them congratulate Malachi on becoming a father.

I woke up a month ago and somehow Malachi met me and told me everything that happened. I fell in love with Bryer and the only thing she could do was order for my murder. I should be upset but she is already dead, there is no need for that.

Odette delivered in the same hospital I was admitted it and I stumbled upon them when I came for my first checkup for the moment. Malachi looks happy as my former father in law and brother in laws fawned over him, he couldn’t stop himself from grinning like a young school boy in love. I saw Odette a week ago, she looked so happy and so content. I was happy seeing her in that state and her baby bump looked so good on her. She didn’t see me, I didn’t want her to see me. She was happy without me, Malachi made her so happy.
