Chapter 88. Wolf’s Dilemma
Taya had planned to tell him about her departure after she got out of bed. Since Griffon had taken the initiative to ask, she could take the opportunity to ask him.
“He must have something urgent to discuss with me. Please have someone take me home.”
“Are you so anxious to see him?” Griffon looked down at her from where he stood, towering above her. Under the shadows of light, his face looked even more sinister and frigid.
“Yes.” Taya was a little afraid of him but still nodded, against her heart’s wishes. Even if she would rather not see Jackson, she had to leave immediately.
Since Griffon was planning his mating ceremony to Tara, it was inappropriate for Taya to stay at his house overnight. She had only forgotten about his mate-to-be because she had been touched by the warmth he showed.
