Chapter 120

Diana’s POV

Everyone in the house had already fallen asleep, which surprised me because I never thought anyone could do so with all the stress. I guess the past few days have tired them out. We had a lot to worry about after all. It’s a good thing we’re all able to eat a proper meal earlier.

As for me, I couldn’t sleep. My mind wandered to what could be waiting for us tomorrow. I also kept thinking about Arthur. After all, it was I who vouched for him.

In my sleepless state, I got downstairs and started making coffee. Fortunately, Harry’s a bit of a heavy sleeper and he didn’t notice me get up. I walked towards the window to see how Arthur was doing. Per our agreement earlier, he was to guard the house all day.
