[“We are more focused on improving our current services. But make no mistake, Wayne is far from falling behind in this industry.”]

And that was everything Daniel Wayne, my ex-father-in-law, had to say before leaving the scene and entering his limo. I was trying so hard not to laugh because the room was dead quiet, focused on the news we were watching.

I glanced at Harry on the edge of the table, holding the remote to his lips, looking pleased. He had the whole Clinton executive committee behind him, almost wearing the same expression as they watched the Waynes’ recent interview this morning.
