Diana’s POV

I am watching Charles seeing him in the present. And I am calm. I now actually feel like I can walk to the stage and kick him in the balls, but of course I can’t.

I’m here for Clinton. I turned my eyes to the one who gave me the courage to feel like this and I see him smiling proudly. He had his eyes on the stage, but I knew it was because I was able to relax.

But it wasn’t for long.

Charles continued.

“I wanted to take this opportunity to make you, my good friends, and the world as witnesses to one of the greatest moments in my life. Not as an entrepreneur, but as a man.”

I felt my heart skip a beat in anxiety and I don’t know why, but the next moments gave me the crushing reason.

“I would like to call onstage the love of my life and woman of my dreams. My darling, Ms. Elena Wilson.”

“F—king hell.” Harry cussed under his breath as soon as he realized.
