Chapter 47
Diana’s POV
I managed to keep my eyes open even though the camera light almost made me blind.
“Thank you so much Clinton, very nice!”
After shaking our hands, the photographer turned to face the next person in line.
Still, the images continued. As we ascended the velvet carpet to the top of the steps, lights began to flicker in our direction. Harry had his arm wrapped around my bare waist the entire time while I had my arm on his shoulder.
“You good?” He tucked a strand of hair behind my ear and smiled, cupping the side of my face after.
Amidst all the sounds, I could nearly make out a few coos. I smiled because it wasn’t an act. Though sometimes I can tell the difference between his genuine and phony expressions of affection, I still find it difficult to notice. It seems real to me.
I grabbed the hand on my face and gave it a gentle squeeze.
“I’m alright,” And there’s another fit of laughter from the crowd.
