Diana’s POV
“Sure.” It’s not like I have anyone to tell.
“My parents don’t know this. They don’t know I’m an actress.”
“Well, why? I’m sure they’d be proud. You’ve done great projects so far.”
She sighed.
“I’m from the countryside, and my parents used to own a farm. But there’s this fire and well… I’m their only kid so I had to help them out. Moved to the city, and got a job as a waitress. It’s a very dramatic movie, my life. Then one day, I got scouted for this TV series. It paid better money in one take and I also wanted to be an actress. So, I signed in.”
“What did you tell them?”
She shrugged.
“I told them I became a florist. I used to work with Mama in her garden. I told them flowers sell for a lot in the city, so they wouldn’t get suspicious with the big money I was sending them.”
