“She’s here?”

Elaine nodded in confirmation.

“She’s already in the living room, ma’am. Should I send her here to your study?”

“No, please. I’ll go to her.” I immediately took my coat and the envelope where the contract was.

I was about to meet the recruit for our Hermes Entertainment Company. It’s a new department in Hermes that Daniel personally asked me to manage. It was also my idea to have an entertainment department, but I never thought they’d upgrade it to a whole company! I’m finally getting my chance. All that training paid off.

And Charles. If I do a great job at this, we might get to work together too! I’ll get to spend more time with him.

“Okay, Diana. Let’s do this.” I took a deep breath before opening the door.

“Oh, there she is,” Elaine remarked after handing a cup of coffee to our recruit.

Then she left us alone in the room.
