Time seemed to stand still in Garrett's world. It took him a few seconds to process Elice's words, especially with the fact that she seemed to be looking down.

"What do you mean?"

Elice's face lifted, watching Garrett with a look he couldn't interpret.

"I can't promise if this will work, Garrett. But..."
