Chapter 38
Dalia’s POV
I woke up with a headache and my entire body hurt like a bitch. I wanted to punch myself for being so stupid yesterday as to walk in such heavy downpour, knowing it might make me sick.
I was about to call out to Chelsea when the door to my room flung open dramatically and her loud voice followed. She came to the side of the bed I was sleeping on with her hands on her hips, like a mother about to scold her child.
“And why are you still in bed by 7, young lady? Are you not going to work?” She asked as she looked down at me. I opened my eyes to look at her but groaned in pain when I could barely keep them open.
“Will you please lower your voice, Chels? I have a massive headache and shouting isn’t going to make it any better. In fact, I think you just made it worse,” I groaned as I buried my face into my pillow.
She sat on my bed and touched my forehead, retracting her hands in a hurry. “You can warm up an ocean with your body temperature
